Solana
is the creator and exclusive marketer of the ProviderPro® software
series. Development and enhancement of the software is a result of a
collaborative approach with multiple providers who service people with
intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. These providers experienced
many of the same issues that make agencies operate inefficiently and
experience low or negative profit margins.
The core accounting modules were programmed in 1992 and a significant
customer base has since evolved. In 1995, with the addition of one of
Ohio’s largest and most respected non-profit providers as a customer
(Sunshine Communities, Inc.), I/DD-specific modules such as Client
Billing, Client Banking and Client Information were developed.
Impressive increases in efficiency occurred through the integration of
core accounting processes with the tasks handled by the I/DD modules,
thus the evolution of ProviderPro.
